Exercising is the best way to keep your muscles active. Regular exercise not only helps in unrestricted movement of muscles but is also beneficial in relieving muscle soreness and tightness. At Ocean Park Massage Therapy Clinic, we focus on balance, stretching, strengthening, and somatic exercises to keep your muscles active and moving.
Stretching helps improve our body's flexibility, increases blood flow, and improves posture. Strengthening helps support our musculoskeletal system and reduces our chance of injury, while enabling us to do various activities. At the same time, somatics helps us learn to engage only the muscles required to do the movement, and disengage the muscles we don’t need.
